Frank Rogers
(Coach Frank)

Growing up in Salinas California, Frank attended Salinas High School where he led the Cowboys to a 23-2 record his senior year, and was Named the Monterey County Player of the Year by the Monterey Herald. Frank went on to play his freshman season of college basketball at Cabrillo College in Aptos, California. The Seahawks finished 24-4, including an undefeated conference record, a conference championship, and the first Elite 8 Playoff appearance in school history. Frank finished Second Team All-Conference, and earned a scholarship to the University of San Francisco. After one season with the Dons, he transferred to San Jose State University, where he finished his collegiate career and graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies. In addition to curating Season Twoo, Frank also works for a non-profit organization in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Why Season Twoo?

Following a strong senior season at San Jose State, with averages of 11.9 points and 7 rebounds per game, Frank joined the Greensboro Swarm of the NBA D League as an undrafted rookie. In his third game, he suffered a season ending ankle injury that altered the trajectory of his playing career. After a few short stints overseas in countries of China, Dominican Republic and Georgia, he returned home to pursue a career in education and youth coaching. Frank remained passionate about basketball, and his professional training regimen, paired with community engagement, led to the foundations of Season TWOO The Winners Overcome Obstacles. His inspiration was in creating opportunity, rather than awaiting opportunity. And whenever the odds seem stacked against him, Frank refers to times from his childhood and adolescence, or when he had 0 college offers; and the persistence that granted him multiple scholarships, and opportunities through basketball and education.
